The Inflection Point
This post talks about the 100th monkey experiment and explores the idea of achieving a critical mass to trigger universal world change.
The good news is that there is a way to bring about change in this world without the need to actually reach out individually to everyone. In the affairs of the world, it is called the critical mass inflection point. It is the number of people who transform themselves from within and demonstrate compatible change in their behavior and character. The net effect of the degree of shift in their awareness or consciousness has a resonance kind of effect on unified world consciousness and as if by magic rest of the people align themselves to the new behavior and character traits.
This social phenomenon is also called the 100th Monkey Experiment. Scientists observed this during world war II. Watch the below video to know more
We really do not know what is this critical mass. I have read figures ranging from 3.5% to 13%. I personally feel it is the net effect of the impact of the intensity of change that occurs in each human mind. A person whose life and external actions are in line with peace, balance, and harmony would certainly be generating a deeper impact than someone who is only in a state of mental agreement. A state of awareness and agreement may also generate some impact, but would it be intense enough to cause a dent in world consciousness?
My understanding is that we need to create awareness, learn, act, and then scale up our transformative actions if we wish to contribute to helping reach the tipping point faster.
